Friday June 14th 3pm Tour of Water Works plant Limit of 25 for event. Patrons will need to call 785 234 6097 to reserve a seat on the tour
June 23rd 3pm A tour of Grace Episcopal Church with Don Chubb at 8th and Tyler

July 21st at 3pm Katherine Meinhardt
will give a tour of Forest Park located near 8th and Carnahan
August 18th a tour of the Topeka Performing Arts Center with Beth Fager and John Hunter. TPAC is located at 8th and Quincy Time 3:00pm at the Box Office

October 20th at 3pm A Tour of the Carousel at Gage Park with Anne Stauffer. Gage Park is located at 6th and Gage
​
November TBD A Tour of the Woodward House at 1272 SW Fillmore
​
All programs are free to Historical Society members however non members will be asked to donate $5 to attend.
The Shawnee County Historical Society formed in 1946. It's founders recognized the need to preserve the facts and legends of the early days of our county up to more recent times.
